Classic, classic stuff. I mean, I first started playing Tekken back in 1996 when I first saw Tekken 2 for Playstation. I remember one of my cousins had the game. I played Playstation before, but never a fighter quite like this one. In the 3D realm, Tekken definitely has it on lock. I remember this was one of the first endings I saw because I always enjoyed playing with Law. He was fast, strong, could parry. He was what you call the all-around character! It was just so hilarious seeing Paul attempt to do Marshall Law’s infamous Somersault Kick and falling flat on his face! Great, great stuff. Tekken always had a sense of humor on the endings.
The third Tekken had a little bit of a twist. It’s called “Middle Age” for a reason. Look at how both Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law try to follow the young tyke, Forrest Law. He did a nice standing up kick up and landed back on to his feet. However, that wasn’t quite the case for Paul and Marshall as they both landed straight on the face/butt. Not a good look at all! LOLOLOL!
My favorite one however has to be the Tekken Tag Tournament Law ending which involves Forrest Law and Paul Phoenix. They are both practicing forms or whatever, and towards the end of the clip they accidentally kick each other where the sun don’t shine. For two high class fighters to do this at the same time, it made me laugh like crazy. Too hilarious. Welp, that’s the Throwback Thursday for tonight. Enjoy!
