All right, I knew there were supposed to be some surprises from Capcom this year, but didn’t expect anything like this. Well, Capcom is not really known for the Adventure RPG type of games, but this is looking like a classic right here. Gotta appreciate the diversity of Capcom. This should definitely shut up a lot of haters talking about re-hash this, re-hash that. HAHA. This game kind of reminds me of a Monster Hunter and a Shadow of Colossus all rolled into one title.
MT Framework is forming a great partnership with Capcom in creating some really solid and detailed looking artwork and textures for the game. I mean, look at the way Marvel vs Capcom 3 looks compared to Marvel vs Capcom 2. There’s a huge difference not only graphically but texture wise!! I heard the development time for this was crazy. Apparently, there’s a staff of over 150 people creating this title in development for around 2 years now? Wow, who spends that much time on a game nowadays! Quality is greater than quantity, indeed.
There is a great diversity in the characters so far, so you don’t get the typical magic and hack and slash type of gameplay as most adventure RPG games. So far from the list you have the attack-focused fighter, the magic-focused mage, and the speedy strider. Additionally, the dialogue and storyline looks very promising. Capcom is definitely known for their great storytelling and dialogue, so it should be a great game overall. This game is due out next spring or summer, so we’ll only be treated with more trailers as the game’s impending release is evident.
