Spencer Halpin’s Moral Kombat Documentary

I was on twitter and looked at the tweet sent by Gamepro :

This is an interesting subject matter. For years, many higher up (particularly politicians even in Clinton’s first administration) have been demeaning video games as a social injustice due to it’s violent, graphic nature. I’m not necessarily condoning violence (well, in real life – violence is something that i’m not for….it should be last resort), but there are always two sides to the story. I’m actually curious to see how this documentary comes out.

From what I can see so far, it’s very biased. I remember when the rating system was introduced in the 90′s (that goes for TV as well) it was a government regulated act as a way to get kids from watching or playing things they shouldn’t. In all honesty, it comes down to the parents. It’s not the game company’s fault for something bad to happen. The parent should be paying close attention, and should allot the kid a certain game to play or not to play. That’s my personal belief.
