I haven’t posted one of these in a lil bit, but this one especially funny because of the Rocket Raccoon puppet. Not only does it fit in with the way Raccoon looks like on the actual game, but the British accent is a GREAT touch! LMFAO! It’s kind of hilarious how Dr. Doom is all up in the little guy’s face getting all upset, and then talking about going to save Slippy *Star Fox reference*. Pretty hilarious. The break down of the characters is as follows:
Rocket Raccoon – he has an incredible wave dash for one thing. He can float in the air because of his extreme lightweight. The mobility this character has is incredible! For one thing, he’s an actual trap character that can manuever as well as just body people from a distance. What he lacks in his defenses (being as he can’t damage well at all), he makes up for in his diversity as well as long range game, setups, and air movement. He has rocket skates that allow him to dash up to three times in the air. His ground trap has several attacks, but the one most effective is the grab bag which basically holds the character down for a bit. This will allow you to follow up with a nice air combo and ground setup to continue your attack. What I truly dig about his setups is the ground burrow, you can either get right in front or in back of your opponent. However, if you use the fierce, you’ll actually stay underground for a few seconds, which makes it really tricky for your opponent when you use your character assists to do projectile movements!
Frank West – now, I played as him in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. He is a very unique kind of character with a lot of projectile and level up qualities to help ante up his attacks. For mixes up, bounces, and resets, you’ll definitely be able to use him. I love how a lot of his movements are combo based and damaged based. He is what you would call a build up character. Why? Well, using his camera builds up experience points (almost like an RPG), and you really start to see him shine. Everything from the range of his attacks, the damage, the bounces, and priority all enhances! He’ll definitely be the type of character you’ll use in a real up close and personal kind of clutch match. For more info, peep the clip below:
