Toyota Rav 4

This is a solid article on the Rav 4. The article describes the Toyota Rav 4 as a compact crossover SUV from 1994. However, it did not release until 2 years later. This SUV model influenced some later SUV’s such as like the Honda CR-V, Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute. Some of the main features include: 4 wheel drive capability, extra storage space, and good fuel. It was also a sought after vehicle due to its reliability and price ($21,675). That helped build a winning formula that rivals could not compete with.

Additionally, it breaks down the details for more of the model and engine type. For example, “The first generation of the RAV4 was originally based on the Corolla platform and came with a 120 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and either front- or all-wheel-drive configurations. In 1998, the RAV4 was slightly restyled on the front and rear fascias, and a soft-top two-door was made available in some markets.” There is a comparison with the different models like the 2006 model which features four- and six-cylinder powertrains as opposed to 2.0 liter four cylinders of the first generation.
