It’s been a little minute since I’ve done a Music Monday, so I got a little treat for y’all today! For one thing, you are getting a retro vibe not only with the game and track, but the type of sound. You see, Sega Genesis was famous for a lot of the songs made on it like the Streets of Rage series. That stands out beyond any kind of notion, and there’s even a parody of the game .

This is actually a pretty solid remix because it gives a rather accurate depiction of what it would sound like on Sega Genesis. When you hear the Midi kind of sound, you can tell this would be SEGA made. In all honesty, you know what this reminds me of? An old Mega Man game! Yes, that’s probably the most accurate description I can give y’all! Who’s played the old school Captain Commando games for SNES? You know the joint with Mummy, Ninja, and Baby Commando? Well, you also get that vibe from this here clip as well. It’s a throwback for sure, and an awesome reminder of what was fun to this today.

If you are in nostalgia mode, you’ll definitely identify with this track. Marvel vs Capcom was the first game of the series that set it all off. Unfortunately, I didn’t have it for the Sega Saturn or the Dreamcast. I got the watered down version from the PSX. But did I play the hell out of it? Yes, I did. Did I enjoy? YES, I DEFINITELY DID! Check out one of my older Marvel vs Capcom music mondays. The Morrigan post! Yes, a remix track if you will called Seduktriss. You can peep the clip below the Captain Commando one. Enjoy!
