In a German interview, the founder of Quantic Dream *Heavy Rain*, David Cage, stated sales of over 1 million worldwide. He said, “”We sold more than a million copies of Heavy Rain worldwide.” “That was a surprise for many – some expected more like 200,000 to 300,000 sold units. We’re counting on selling 1.5 million units by the end of the year and are very happy with the result.”
In fact, they sold over 200k within the first month of being released.
