All right, there are a lot of games on here that they talk about. However, I’ll condense it into a 300-400 word essay highlighting some of my key favorites.

Let’s talk about Street Fighter Alpha 2. For me, that was the first Playstation fighting game I particularly owned. I absolutely loved it. The anime graphics, the sound effects, the characters all made that game very, very memorable. In fact, a lot of the times I just put it on to listen to the music! It was a very cool title to me, and the storyline was really great because it tied up a lot of loose ends on different subjects especially the main characters: Ken and Ryu.

Street Fighter III: excellent, excellent game. It was the first true sequel to Street Fighter 2, Super Street Fighter 2. This was a LONG time coming to be dead honest. The enhanced graphics engine, the speed, the fresh art, and the music all made this game memorable. A lot of people say that Street Fighter III: 3rd strike is the PERFECT fighting game. I have to say I’m really inclined to agree. Well balanced, the right kind of tactics. Everything was just dope about it!

Versus series (2D fantasy – X-Men vs Street Fighter to Marvel vs Capcom 2) I have to say these were the days of the super jumps. The games I really dug in this series were Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 2. A lot of different fighters, a different play structure, and just really fun. These were the kinds of games you could play with your homies all day and not get tired! LOLOLOL. What more can I say other than it was fun!

Versus series (Capcom vs SNK) – I really loved the art style of this game. SNK had some really good characters, and I would often mix up my Fatal Fury characters with my Street Fighter characters. Capcom vs SNK 2 was the game I practiced in quite a bit. In fact, I often played top tier people when I went to different con events, and what not. Capcom vs SNK 2 will be something I never sell just because it’s a classic!

3D realm (Street Fighter EX) – it was not the best in the series, but I did like the characters and the focus on more realism. Had the EX series had sharper graphics, better storyline, it woulda probably done pretty well for itself. It’s definitely a stand out title. You gotta give it that. And if this did not come out, there’s a good chance of no Street Fighter 4 existing! Check out the clip below for more info:
